Doug Howard
Chief Executive Officer

Doug Howard brings over 20 years experience in business development, M&A, operations, engineering, marketing, sales and executive leadership to his chief executive role at VBrick. Howard’s industry background includes senior leadership positions across a number of high-profile global companies in the Internet security and telecommunications sectors.

Prior to joining VBrick, Howard served as President of USA.NET, a wholly owned subsidiary of Perimeter where he also held the Chief Strategy Officer position. While at USA.NET, Howard served as President and oversaw all aspects of the business including sales, marketing, business strategy and service delivery. Under his leadership, USA.NET experienced significant growth in both revenue and EBITDA.

Howard previously served as Chief Operating Officer of BT Counterpane, where he led a global team responsible for the development, implementation, operations and marketing of BT Counterpane's product and service lines. Prior to BT Counterpane, he served as Vice President of Security and Business Continuity at AT&T Corp., where he developed and launched new services for each of the company's business lines of service.

Howard started his career in the US Air Force working under the direct command of the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon. After the military, he moved into the private sector and held executive positions at Sprint, FLAG Telecom, Telenet and Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). He founded Technology Research International, Inc. in 1989, which was purchased by NBC Broadcasting in 1991. Howard’s impressive business track record and industry thought leader status have earned him accolades from top analyst firms including Frost & Sullivan and The Radicati Group.

John Shaw
Chief Operating Officer
John Shaw brings more that 25 years of experience building networking and software businesses.  Prior to joining VBrick Systems, he was Chief Executive Officer of Aptima, Inc., a major provider of predictive analytics and Web 2.0-related products and services.  Previously, Mr. Shaw was with Cisco Systems for seven years, where he held several senior Marketing positions. He was a member of the leadership team which formulated and executed the company’s voice over IP strategy, representing one of Cisco’s fastest growing product segments. Mr. Shaw joined Cisco via the 1998 acquisition of Summa Four, a leader in the programmable switching market, where he was Vice President of Marketing and Business Development.  During Mr. Shaw’s seven year tenure, Summa Four’s revenues grew five-fold and the company went public.  He also spent five years with AT&T in several sales positions.  Mr. Shaw holds a B.A. in Economics from Bowdoin College, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Michael Agli
Vice President – Finance & Administration

Michael Agli is responsible for the finance, planning and administrative operations at VBrick.  In this role Mr. Agli works closely with all departments to oversee the management of financial operations including the preparation of financial statements, managing the budgeting process, providing financial and operational projections at the unit and company level and utilizing comprehensive performance metrics to work with the management team to ensure efficient operations and maximum profitability.

Mr. Agli has more than 20 years of experience in finance, M&A, business development and operations.  Mr. Agli has been an effective member of Senior Management teams at multiple entrepreneurial technology based organizations.   Prior to joining VBrick Systems, Inc., Mr. Agli served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Resolute Partners, L.L.C.  In this role Mr. Agli was responsible for the production of all financial reporting as well as the dissemination of internal management metrics, negotiation of partner contracts, pricing, human resources and management of external financial and legal relationships.  Mr. Agli was also instrumental in negotiating and integrating merger and acquisition opportunities that allowed Resolute Partners to expand its service offering across all branches of the United States Military. 

Prior to joining Resolute Partners, Mr. Agli served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Connecticut Telephone. While in this capacity, Michael managed all aspects of the company's finance, accounting and revenue assurance including the management of all carrier, banking and investor relationships. Michael played an instrumental role in the sale of Connecticut Telephone for a purchase price of $68 million. Mr. Agli also coordinated the successful purchase and integration of numerous acquisitions while with Connecticut Telephone.

Mr. Agli holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Finance and Economics from Eastern Connecticut State University.

John Senior
Senior Vice President of Engineering
John Senior, a ten year veteran of VBrick’s engineering team, leads the design and development of VBrick’s video software and hardware solutions.  Most importantly, he is responsible for architecting and implementing the future technology strategy for the VBrick enterprise platform.  John has been a key contributor in many of VBrick’s hardware and software development efforts including the MPEG-1 network video appliances, the second generation MPEG-2, MPEG-4, and WM solutions, and most recently VBrick’s newest platform of H.264 appliances. John holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
Craig Myers
Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Craig Myers is a long time streaming media evangelist and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of success building and managing emerging market sales teams.  Prior to joining VBrick in 2004, Craig was the co-founder and CEO of a venture backed streaming media service provider, VideoScape.   VideoScape pioneered the corporate use of streaming media as a business tool to train and communicate with customers, partners and sales channels.  He was an early executive with PictureTel where company revenue grew from less than $100 million to more than $500 million during his tenure as the Director of Channel Sales.  He was instrumental in the creation, sale, implementation and management of an innovative service based model for videoconferencing.  This led to one of PictureTel’s largest end user sales ever, Kinkos.  Craig holds a degree in Management from Purdue University.
Michael Benson
Regional Vice President
Mike Benson is a seasoned veteran of nearly 20 years of selling technology and telecommunications solutions to major corporations and government agencies. He has an impressive record of high-curve sales growth and responsive customer service. Before coming to VBrick in 2000, Mike was a regional sales manager for Sprint, overseeing a territory of 35 states and the Caribbean and managing an impressively productive sales team. Prior to that, he held senior account management positions at Tektronix and Eastman Kodak. Mike received his B.A, degree from Graceland College in Iowa.
Bryan Neumann
Vice President of Operations
Bryan Neumann has over 20 years of experience in high-tech operations and manufacturing. Bryan has held management and engineering positions at: American Dynamics Manufacturing Engineering where he was responsible for automated circuit board assembly and the selection, installation, and operation of MRPII system; Dataswitch Corporation Manufacturing Engineering where he implemented MRP systems, was responsible for manufacturing facility implementation, and managing off-shore manufacturing subcontractors; and Trinitech Systems Inc., where he served as Vice President of Hardware Technology where he was responsible for manufacturing, product development, customer service, purchasing, quality assurance, and hardware sales.
Dan Missbrenner
Vice President, Strategic Alliances

Dan Missbrenner brings more than 17 years of experience in sales and sales management to his role as Vice President, Strategic Alliances. Prior to joining VBrick, Mr. Missbrenner held Sales Director roles at Polycom where he contributed to the formation and growth of the Global Account Organization. Previously, Mr. Missbrenner held senior sales positions at Packet8, Amber Networks (acquired by Nokia), Nortel Networks, Adaptec and 3Com. Mr. Missbrenner started his career in the Aerospace industry where he was responsible for Satellite Systems Design and Integration and performed launch-base operations. In this capacity, he was involved in the industry’s first mission to recover a satellite from orbit. Missbrenner holds his B.S. in Electronic Engineering Technology from DeVry Institute of Technology , Phoenix Az.
